Validation of GHG Projects and Methodologies
ClimateCHECK has extensive experience providing GHG validation services for GHG reduction projects, inventories, technologies/products, as well as government and corporate GHG programs. Our validation services include assessing the technical correctness and consistency with GHG policies and criteria, of the underlying plans, procedures, and data with applicable standards and all with careful attention paid to the objectives of our clients. ClimateCHECK’s validation services provide clients with an independent opinion on their GHG assertions ensuring marketplace credibility of their strategic GHG activities.
Validation Services for GHG Reduction Projects
We validate (“ex ante”, before the start of the project and generation of emission reductions) GHG project assertions, such as amount of tonnes of CO2e reduced or conformance with a specific standard or program (e.g. ISO 14064, CDM Approved Methodologies)
We also perform pre-validation and pre-verification “test audits” to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement before the actual validation or verification.
