Ottawa, Canada – March 24, 2009 – ClimateCHECK has been selected by Sofame Carbon to assist in monetizing the carbon value of its technology. ClimateCHECK will provide carbon advisory services to develop the tools and systems needed to generate high quality carbon credits on behalf of Sofame and its world-class clients.

SOFAME Technologies Inc. custom engineers and manufactures unique, high-efficiency direct-contact heat recovery and hot water heating systems with hundreds of installations across multiple industries including universities, hospitals, airports and other industrial-scale applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, ClimateCHECK will develop the portfolio offsets based on International Standards Organization (ISO) systems, advise on carbon management and marketing, develop project documentation and support the aggregation of offsets by working directly with Sofame’s client base.
